The shopping and lifestyle complex, Assembly Row, first opened its doors in Somerville, Massachusetts four years ago. Over those years the complex was under continuous construction. Yet over the summer, with the completion of phase two, the complex saw a mixture of new retail storefronts, restaurants, apartments and the 158-room Autograph Hotel, the Row Hotel at Assembly Row.

St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) in Pontiac, Michigan is a teaching medical facility established nearly a century ago. Providing comprehensive medical care for Oakland County, the hospital is a member of the established Saint Joseph Mercy Health System. Back in 2006, a “regeneration” plan was initiated with a series of planned enhancements over the next decade. In addition to the renovation of the physical facility, an intensive reorganization plan was established as well as a means of improving the internal functionality of the hospital.

In mid-September, the Alfred L. Arcidi Center at Merrimack College opened its doors at the momentous Evening of Gratitude. On the northern side of the campus, the 16,000 square-foot building serves as a Welcome Center. Housing the campus’ O’Brien Center for Career Development, the two-story building boasts an impressively modern exterior design. The architect, and project’s general contractor, PROCON was responsible for the campus’ north end gateway.
